15 creative winners
15 creative businesses from a comedian to a design company have won £2000 each to help them develop their business. The cash comes from Creative LeicesterShire’s second development bursary awards. The winning 15 creative freelancers and small businesses were chosen because of their potential to develop their work and business.
Clare Hudson, Creative Industries Manager, said ‘we were overwhelmed with a total of 73 applications and the quality was very high. There’s a huge amount of creative talent in the subregion and I’m just sorry we couldn’t take more businesses on to the scheme.’
